1. There are no comments on posts, but dialogue is not prohibited. Send an email if you have something to say, and indicate whether the text can be published here. Comments that point to material, especially offline sources, that bear on the subject matter of the post are greatly appreciated.
2. Self-reference and self-aggrandizement are discouraged here. That may lead to an excess of passive voice. But ideally it will improve the content of the posts.
3. All posts will have a one-word title. No exceptions.
4. Links will be provided sparingly and only when absolutely necessary, and hardly ever for simple references. Do a little research for once.
